We are a team of researchers at the University of Southampton and Newcastle University interested in second language acquisition and language education, especially of French. We started collecting data in the mid-nineties to document learner development in classroom learners of French in the UK context. Recently, we investigated the possibilities of using new methodologies in order to enhance data storage and analysis, as well as making large corpora easily available to other researchers.
